Legendary actress Sridevi's first death anniversary was observed by her family on February 24, 2019; just two days after it annoucement of her last release 'Mom' to have theatrical release in China from March 22, 2019 onwards made headlines. 

Film critic, Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Xclusiv: Sridevi’s final major film #Mom will release in #China on 22 March 2019... Zee Studios International release... Poster for local audience:" 

The film's poster shared by Taran is in local Chinese language along with the release date. Her husband Boney Kapoor said in a press conference, "Mom is a film that has connected with both, mothers and audiences, from every region. This is Sri's last film and our aim is to tell this beautiful story and showcase her most remembered last film to as many people as possible.Zee Studios International has been a part of 'Mom's success since day one and I am glad to see them take this film to heights even two years after its release."

The actress went to win a national award for this film as well. It narrated a story of a mother who punishes the rapist of her daughter by taking law in her hand. Starring Akshaye Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui movie received raving reviews from the audience. 'Mom' has already entertained the audience in the countries such as Poland, Czech, Russia, UAE, UK, USA, and Singapore, after its release in India.
