Nearly 20 Sandalwood actors of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) have stayed away from late-night parties to get in shape for the T20 cricket tournament. This is a self-imposed three month Fatwa for the actors.

Actors in the CCL team include Shiva Rajkumar, Sudeep, Diganth, Chiranjeevi Sarja, Tarun Chandra, Dhruv, Dharma Keerthiraj, Abhimanyu Kashinath, Pradeep and Rahul. Kumar, who coaches the India B team, says, "I can vouch that they have kept their word. Shivanna, Sudeep, Dhruv and Pradeep have played professional cricket."

Team captain, Sudeep, says, "staying away from parties is not a big deal for me. I am determined to build a good team and win". He adds, "No actor is asking for even a paisa. All of them are playing for pride," Sudeep said.
