(Cover) - EN Movies - Steven Spielberg will make his debut appearance at this year's Comic-Con to promote his movie The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn.
The iconic director has never appeared at the hugely successful San Diego convention before, and his only other involvement was a filmed presentation for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. However, he will appear in a panel at the event, which celebrates genre films and comics.
Steven will also be presented with an Inkpot Award, which is given to people who have had an impact in the genre world. Steven's classic films include E.T: The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, the Indiana Jones movies, Jurassic Park and Schindler's List.
Comic-Con runs from July 21 to July 24. The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn movie is a motion capture film, which features Jamie Bell as the intrepid reporter. Released later this year, the eagerly awaited adventure also includes performances by Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. (C) Cover Media
