The hype and hullabaloo around International porn star Sunny Leone's debut film 'Jism 2' got a bumper response and start on its release.

Though the film garnered huge moolah in its first weekend, the collections dropped in the following days.

Nonetheless, Sunny sees the silver lining in the dark clouds. She is extremely happy with the response and the acceptance she got from the audience.

"I am happy to have got the love and affection from the people. This is my first Indian movie. I had never planned a Bollywood career. How many people get this much of attention when they do their first film? This is a new chapter in my life and I know I am very lucky," said Sunny. 

She further added that though she has been slammed for being a porn star she is elated with the start of her career, "I can't change people's perceptions of me. I am not ashamed of my past. People have, at times, had pre-conceived notions of me. But then, Critics have not really torn me into shreds saying that I can't act. I know I have a long way to go but I am happy with the start I’ve made," added Sunny who has big dreams to chase in Bollywood.

She has been a part of the porn industry and her first Bollywood film was an erotic thriller but now she wants to do the commercial films, "I would love to play characters where I need to sing and dance. I don't mind a rural belle," expressed Sunny.
