The shooting of 'Rana' which has Rajnikanth in triple roles began on the 29th of last month. On the first day of shooting, the superstar was admitted to the hospital and discharged the next day. While discharging him, the doctor advised Rajni to rest but the perfectionist continued shooting in order to avoid delays. After participating in the shooting, he returned to his Poes Garden residence.

Since he vomited because of digestive problems, he was taken to Isabella Hospital for treatment. The doctors said, "Rajnikanth is suffering from digestive problems and because of this he has vomited and needs to rest".

For the actor, work comes first! Rajni started shooting for 'Rana' and once again fell ill. He had a slight fever but continued to work. Around 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday, he was admitted at the Isabella Hospital for treatment. The doctors are examining Rajni and he will be discharged tomorrow.
