Sushant Singh Rajput much awaited biopic on Indian cricketer M S Dhoni titled as M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story will hit the screens in the second half of 2016.

Released date was confirmed by Sushant on twitter recently. He tweeted, "#dhoniTheUntoldStory will release on 2nd September 2016. Can’t wait;-))."

Accompanying the tweet was a movie still featuring Sushant himself holding a stump in his left hand.

The film is extensively shot in Ranchi and also stars Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. Film is produced by Fox Star Studios and Inspired Entertainment.
