Upset about news that Bollywood star Sushmita Sen and cricket legend Wasim Akram are getting married, the former finally puts the rumors to rest.

After hearing all the stories put across by the media, Sushmita clarified the rumors on her microblogging site that read, "Hi guys!Been reading about my upcoming wedding with Wasim..ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!!! Goes to show just how irresponsible media can be sumtimes!"

She further added saying that she and Wasim are just good friends. "Wasim Akram is a friend and will always be one!! He has a wonderful lady in his life.. rumors like these are uncalled for n disrespectful!" said Sushmita.

A year back, the actress stated that she would get married the following year (this year) as she has waited long enough, but since then she has not spoken about it.

Sushmita claims that when she finds 'the one', she will tie the knot. "My beautiful people..when I find 'THE ONE'..you'll be the first to know:)) benefits of being my twitter family!!;) love u all soooooo much!" she said.

Hopefully, this clarification shuns away all the unnecessary rumors.
