Just a few days back, ALTBalaji had announced singing up of industry's two super talented actors Kay Kay Menon and Barun Sobti for their next show 'The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family', and joining the ensemble cast of the show is veteran actress Swaroop Sampat. 

She will be seen essaying the role of Premlata Ranaut. She plays Kay Kay and Barun's mother in the show. Her character is fun-loving, wise and easy going. 

Speaking about the project, Swaroop said, "I said yes to ‘The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family’ because I liked the story and my character is quite interesting and am sure it will stand out. The kind of content that ALTBalaji is creating is applaudable and I am very happy to be a part of its next offering. I have just started shooting for the show and the team is a lot of fun on sets. I am looking forward to the show."

Swaroop who was last seen in 'Ki & Ka' is making her digital debut with this #ALTBalajiOriginal.

Starring Kay Kay Menon, Barun Sobti, Eisha Chopra, Shriswara, Sanaya Pithawalla, Perlene Bhesania and Rohan Joshi, 'The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family' is a story that revolves around two brothers and how long-simmering tension between the two leads to a family dispute. The show will focus on the highs and lows of their relationship, leading to a deadly dysfunctional drama, hence the title of the show.
