Taapsee is all thrilled about her forthcoming Telugu film Gundello Godari, which is being directed by Kumar Nagendra and produced by veteran actor Mohanbabu's daughter Lakshmi Manchu.
'The film is set in the backdrop of 1980s. I play a young girl, who is just of school. She is so innocent and at the same time so chirpy. I am happy to bag such a meaty role,' says the actress.
Interestingly, the film is simultaneously being made in Tamil as Marandhen Mannithen. Taapsee is already popular in Kollywood with the National Award winning Aadukalam, in which she acted alongside Dhanush.
'I am happy that I could make a mark in Tollywood and Kollywood simultaneously with this one film. I am looking forward for its release,' adds Taapsee.
