Actress Taapsee led her life as a professional software engineer in Delhi but found her fortune in Tollywood. Unfortunately, she couldn't win accolades as she was reported to be performing the same type of roles over and over again. Her role as 'Irene' in her first film in Kollywood 'Aadukalam', impressed the audiences a lot, though.

The actress is now pinning more hopes in her upcoming film 'Vandhan Vendran' starring Jeeva in the lead role. Unlike her previous films, this one has her in a different role with action packed shades.

She plays the role of a girl who is in desperate need of some support, to kill someone. When no one comes to her aid, she herself takes up the challenge of bumping them off.

However the actress is disappointed that the Telugu film industry hasn't been favorable for her.
