As a result Tara, who was often captured by paparazzi at glittering showbiz events, secured a reputation as a girl about town, a tag the actress would now like to shed.

Im not just a party girl, there is a lot more to me. I have a big heart and Im a lot smarter than people think. I want to be remembered as a good person, a good (future) mother and wife as well as a good sister, and a good friend. Thats what Id like to be remembered as, she told FOX411s Pop Tarts.

Tara further belied her wild girl image in favour of raising awareness for the dangerous crime of child trafficking. While hosting an alternative gathering to the Golden Globes Awards, Tara was happy to lend a hand to a subject not spoken about often in the media.

It is time for people to be aware of it. The epidemic is growing and the stories are horrific. It is worse than drug trafficking. These are little kids that are absolutely innocent. We need everyone to be aware of this now and put an end to this. Anyone who gets picked on, this is worse. This is taking a child away from their family and scaring them to death, she added.
