(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Swift says she feels vulnerable.

Since releasing her debut single Tim McGraw in 2006, the 20-year-old county musician has become one of Americas most successful artists.

Her unique blend of mellow melodies and intimate song lyrics have gained her an army of fans across the globe, but the pretty star says she sometimes worries that she reveals too much of her personality in her music.

I have a lot fun doing this and getting to write songs about what happens in my life, but putting it all out there in your music all the details youre taking a chance with that because you are very vulnerable, she told Pop Tarts.

The singer/songwriter has had a famously turbulent couple of years, most famously getting embroiled in the Kanye West furore, after he stormed the stage during her acceptance speech for Best Female Music Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) claiming R&B star Beyonc Knowles was the rightful winner.

Taylor admits Kanyes actions and all the media attention it attracted had an influence on her new album Speak Now, most notably on Innocent, a song she performed at this years VMAs describing the infamous 2009 incident.

Ive written all the songs on it about things that have happened over the last two years, and a lot has happened over the last two years. Its been very eventful, a lot of adventures and misadventures, she said.

Taylor says addressing the incident via music was the best way for her to deal with it, and a very cathartic experience.

For me, I felt like performing VMAs was the best way to go out there and sing how I was actually feeling, being there really helped put all that behind me, she explained. (C) Cover Media
