(Cover) - EN Star Style - Theo Hutchcraft has revealed that American filmmaker David Lynch is his style icon.

As one half of the British synthpop duo Hurts, Theo Hutchcraft and his musical partner Adam Anderson have carved their distinctive image out of wearing sharp-looking dark suits.

Theo is the duets vocalist and has named David Lynch, the director responsible for films such as The Elephant Man, as inspiring him to create the look. He admitted that donning the smart attire made him feel more in control, as it did David.

He was the person who made me want to wear a suit, Theo told NME magazine. Hes so f**king cool...He does his shirt top button up, and he says he does it to make him feel in control. Which I understand.

The singer also revealed that not only would he like to copy 64-year-old Davids style, he would also like to be the same age.

Theo singles out the filmmaker-and-writer for inspiring him to embrace a more mature look.

He makes me want to be old him and Tom Waits make me want to be an old man, Theo said. I want to live my life as an old man they look cooler, and I look quite young. (C) Cover Media
