The remake of 'Thillu Mullu', which will have Shiva, Prakash Raj and others in the lead roles, begun the movie shooting on August 24th.
The new version is produced by Vendhar Movies and directed by Badri. Before they could start with the project, Badri and Shiva called on K. Balachander, Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan and took their blessings.
While the old version was directed by Balachander with Rajini in the lead, Kamal Haasan makes a guest appearance at the end of the movie.
Badri who has worked in 'Veerappu', has finalised Prakash Raj to play the role made memorable by Thengai Srinivasan. Also, he has roped in Kovai Sarala to repeat the magic of Sowcar Janaki.
