(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tia Mowry has revealed that she has named her newborn son Cree.

The 32-year-old actress, who is best known for starring in American television show Sister, Sister, announced the baby will be called Cree Taylor Hardrict, reports Us Weekly.

This is Tia's first child with her husband, actor Cory Hardrict, and the couple are overjoyed with the new arrival. The pair are happily adjusting to parenthood, after 8lb. Cree was born in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Tia and Cory made no secret of their delight shortly after Cree entered the world earlier this week.

"I never knew how much love I could feel for someone. I feel that my life has just now begun," Tia said in a statement.

"Tia and I are so excited for this beautiful blessing we brought into the world today, we both have tears of joy!" Cory proudly added.

The actress' pregnancy will be featured in a new reality series Tia & Tamera which will also star her twin sister Tamera. The show will be broadcast in the US later this year. (C) Cover Media
