(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Tom Hardy "cries" when he reads bad reviews.
The 33-year-old British actor portrays Bane in superhero movie The Dark Knight Rises, which is scheduled for release next year. It will be the third instalment of Christopher Nolan's take on the Batman superhero franchise.
Despite appearing in one of the industry's most anticipated movies, the star admits he still gets anxious when it comes to reviews.
"My friends say, 'Don't read it - ignore it'. But I read the comments and I cry," he revealed in an interview with British newspaper The Sun.
Tom can next be seen as a UFC fighter in action drama Warrior. The movie follows a former boxer whose alcoholism tore his family apart. Tom plays his youngest son, who returns home to be trained for a mixed martial arts tournament which leads him to collide with his older brother.
Tom says he struggled with his accent while filming.
"Every time I spoke, the character had a Mexican twang... or Scottish," he said. "It kind of limits the character." (C) Cover Media
