Back in 2007 ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had introduced starkids Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in his film 'Saawariya'. Now after 12 years, Bhansali is launching 2 new faces in Bollywood, Javed Jaffery's son Meezaan and Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal in his next titled 'Malaal'.
A typical love story from the crowded city of Mumbai, where Meezaan plays a Maharashtrian boy falling for Sharmin who plays non-Maharashtrian girl residing in the same chawl.
While Meezan is seen in typical chilled outfits, Sharmin is an ideal example for girl-next-door phrase. Going by the trailer film promises a lot of dance and drama; Marathi dialogues, stars and set up of Ganpati pandals give it a more Maharashtrian touch.
