Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are "amazing fake parents", says their on-screen daughter.

Mackenzie Foy stars in The Twilight Saga as the the vampire/human daughter of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan - Renesmee Cullen.

The 11-year-old actress appears in the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 which is due for release next year.

In the first instalment of Breaking Dawn released worldwide this week - Edward, played by Robert marries Bella, who is portrayed by Kristen, and she falls pregnant.

Mackenzie was thrilled to be starring as the pair's on-screen daughter in the final film of the hugely popular franchise.

"They're amazing, they're sweet," she gushed to E! Online.

"It's really exciting to know them and really fun for them be my fake parents. I loved working with them."

Meanwhile, Jackson Rathbone, who plays vampire Jasper Hale in the film series, was shocked by Kristen's appearance while shooting the gory birth scene in Breaking Dawn Part 1. The actress had to remind him that her unsightly look was the result of cleverly applied make-up.

"One day I came to set...Everybody had a call time at like 9:00 am, and I came in at like 11 because my call was later, and I get there and I see Kristen across the way and I'm like, Hey, Kristen, how's it...what happened to you?!' he explained.

"And she looked so gaunt and so pale and so terrible like she spent five weeks in Vegas. And I'm like Are you OK?!' and she's like Dude, Jax, it's makeup.' And I was like 'Oh thank god. Goddamn, man, that looks terrible.'"
