(Cover) - EN Star Style - Carolina Herrera has confirmed she designed the highly anticipated Twilight wedding gown.

The American designer revealed that she created the dress that Kristen Stewart's character Bella Swan wears at her wedding to vampire Edward Cullen.

Millions of fans are waiting to see the full design, and a couple of glimpses were revealed when the Twilight: Breaking Dawn trailer was premiered at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month.

Carolina says creating the gown was a "special" experience.

"It is always a great pleasure to design any wedding gown, but this one was particularly special," Carolina said in a statement. "Kristen is a stunning girl and her character, Bella, will make a beautiful bride."

From the short promotional clip, fans could see that Bella wears her hair held up by a delicate diamond clasp with the veil attached for her big day. The clip also shows the gown has long sleeves.

Both Kristen and co-star Robert Pattinson, who plays the groom, have described Bella's dress as "beautiful" and "very pretty". (C) Cover Media
