TZH, Raazi & Padmaavat to screen at IFFI 2018

The 49th edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will kickstart from 20th November onwards till and will go on till 28th November in Goa. The film festival will host 190 feature films from different regions in India and abroad.

In total, 26 feature films have been selected for the Indian Panorama Section by the jury headed by Filmmaker Rahul Rawail. The list includes around six Malayalam, five Bengali and Hindi, four Tamil, two Marathi and one each from Telegu, Ladakhi, Tulu and Jasari languages films.

Banita Sandhu and Varun Dhawan starrer 'October' which got critical acclaim already will also be screened. The festival includes 21 Non-feature films as well including foreign language film which are critically admired.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmaavat' will be screened along with 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Raazi' which are chosen by the internal committee of the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF) IFFI. One of the most anticipated film festivals of Asia was inaugurated in 1952.

Ever since then the festival provides a platform for critical cinema from around the world. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Directorate of Film Festivals and the Government of Goa conducts this festival jointly.
