(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Usher's stepson was laid to rest in Atlanta Friday morning.

The funeral for 11-year-old Kile Glover was held at the Wieuca Road Baptist Church just before noon.

Kile passed away last week from injuries sustained in a tragic accident earlier in the month. The child was buried in a nearby cemetery.

Usher was amongst the community of mourners honouring the little boy's memory at the memorial service.

Kile's mother Tameka Foster was reportedly deeply solemn throughout.

Kile was left brain-dead from injuries sustained when an inner tube he was riding was hit by a jet ski. The tube was being pulled by a pontoon boat on Lake Lanier in Georgia.

The cause of his death was reported as heart failure and the case is still under investigation to find out how the accident happened.

His mother Tameka has asked her supporters to donate to the Kile Glover Fund, a charity that promotes water safety. (C) Cover Media
