It is a known fact that filmmaker Karan Johar's protegees Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan had already shot for their special appearance on the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', that has KJo as one of the judges.

The duo made an appearance to promote Kjo's upcoming production 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' starring them in the lead. 

Alongwith the launch of the show, Varun and Alia also launched the first song from their film titled 'Saturday Saturday', with a performance for the audience.

The song has been shot on a lavish set which is a recreation of the Roman Colosseum with statues, tanks and even Mongolian warriors. KJo is confident that like the trailer, the song too will be loved by the audiences.

"Saturday Saturday is a song that makes you head straight to the dance floor. Varun and Alia's sizzling chemistry adds to its charm," said Karan.
