Known as the largest municipal corporations of the country, Mumbai Municipal Corporations along with other corporations witnessed the elections on February 21, 2017. While many people stepped out to vote, Varun Dhawan on the other hand was disappointed as he was unable to vote. While talking to some reporters he mentioned that his name was missing from the voter's list and so he could not vote. He also added that he will figure it out by contacting the Election Commission.

His brother Rohit Dhawan on the other hand casted his vote as his name was present in the list.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan also had an awkward moment, when instead of mentioning Lok Sabha he said that he voted last year for Rajya Sabha elections. 

Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Zoya Akhtar turned out to be the early birds at election booths.Bollywood celebs took active participation in the voting and even urged people to cast their valuable vote.
