Victoria Beckham is "quite obsessed" with Tilda Swinton.

The singer-turned-fashion designer is in awe of the daring red carpet choices the quirky British actress makes. Tilda has previously graced industry events wearing no make-up and is known for her short, sharp, hairstyle.

Victoria would like to get to know the 51-year-old actress as she loves the way she takes risks but doesn't care what other people think.

"I'm quite obsessed with Tilda. I find her intriguing, very stylish, she clearly understands fashion," she told the April edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine.

The interview with Victoria is accompanied by a photoshoot which sees the mother-of-four wearing a number of swimwear pieces.

The shots have been labelled as a homage to screen icons such as Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe, with Victoria donning a retro strapless white swimsuit and a green high-waisted bikini.

The star gave birth to her fourth child daughter Harper in July last year but in the pictures her body is back to its svelte best, with the star boasting slim limbs and a flat stomach.

Victoria's love of fashion has been well documented for years and her foray into design has received favourable reviews from critics. Last year, she was named Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards and has described what the accolade meant to her.

"When they read my name, I was genuinely not expecting it. It was like my heart was going to jump out of my body," she recalled.

"I came off stage and said, I cried three times, I didn't thank the people I wanted to thank, I was really rubbish.' But I think people saw the real me... and the truth is, I would have felt much more comfortable in my pyjamas with the kids and David [Beckham, her husband] in a hotel watching it on TV."
