Creative maverick Vidhu Vinod Chopra is all set for his Hollywood debut. His directorial venture 'Broken Horses' will hit the cinemas in the US on January 16, 2015.

The film is a thriller flick based on a true story of two brothers. One is a concert violinist and the other is a professional soldier. Set with a backdrop of drug war, the film went on floor in 2012 in Los Angeles.

In an interview, the filmmaker said, "It is a story about how we can destroy those we love through the choices we make in life. I'd also like to make Broken Horses as a Hindi movie with Indian actors. But it's too early to get into details at this stage."

The film features features Vincent D'Onofrio, Christopher Marquette, Anton Yelchin, Thomas Jane, Sean Patrick Flannery and Maria Valverde. Costume designer of 'Batman Returns' and 'Men in Black' franchise, Mary Vogt has designed the outfits for the film.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's last directorial venture was 'Eklavya: The Royal Guard' back in 2007.
