Vidya Balan's birthday celebration gave her fans what she is fond of. This time husband Siddharth Roy Kapur hosted a retro theme for his love. After all, it was the 40th birthday of the 'Kahaani' actress and a special party was thrown where everyone was dressed up in their respective vintage attire.
On her birthday, Balan sported a dark green retro outfit and went with all curly hairs. An elated actress shared the glimpse of this special gift via her Instagram handle and captioned it, "Ive often said I was born too late and that i would've loved to be an actor in the 60's & 70's. My special someone, #siddarthroykapur took me seriously and guess what!?? ... He got my face printed onto posters of some of the films that released in 1979 ,the year I was born !! #Canyoubelievethis!?"
In some of her previous interview, the actress had earlier stated that she would have loved to be an actress during the 1960s and 70s; and yes your wish is my command acted Siddharth and had the most special gift lined up for his wife. He had all the cutouts of the 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' actress and pasted them on all the hit film posters from 1979 to her amazement. The posters included classic hits like 'Kaala Patthar', 'Baton Baton Mein', 'Noorie', 'Jaani Dushman', 'Kartavya', 'Magroor', 'Heera Moti' and many more.
On the work front, Vidya will next be seen portraying the role of NTR's wife Basavatarakam in the film NTR: Kathanayakudu.
