Young actor Vijay who was last seen in the movie 'Rowdy Rathore' doing a special appearance, will soon be completing work for his upcoming movie 'Thuppakki' which is helmed by director Vijay. After that, for the first time he will join hands with film-maker Ameer.

"The Vijay-Ameer project has been titled 'Kannabiran'. It will be an action adventure whose music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja", sources say.

It is said that a popular actress will be roped in as the female lead in the movie, which will be set in a different backdrop. "Ameer has conceived an out of the box knot and is developing it into a script", sources further add.

Currently, Ameer is busy finishing the post-production work for 'Aadhi Bhagavan', which has Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles.
