Director Vishnuvardhan, whose Pawan Kalyan starrer 'Panjaa' has opened to houseful screens all over Andhra Pradesh, is gearing up for his next venture.

His next will be a Tamil film, which will have top star Ajith in the lead role. The ace director Vishnuvardhan earlier delivered the super hit 'Billa' with the same Ajith playing the lead role.

Vishnuvardhan has confirmed this with a message on his micro blogging page that he will work with 'Thala' once his Telugu film 'Panjaa' releases.

While some say the Vishnuvardhan-Ajith venture will be a remake of 'Panjaa', there are others who say it will be a fresh script, which was penned by Vishnuvardhan by keeping Ajith in mind.
