Vivek made a valiant initiative of planting saplings across the state, keeping in mind the threat of global warming.

Joining hands with Exnora International, a voluntary organisation committed to environmental protection, Vivek has decided to plant at least 25 lakh trees within a year across Tamil Nadu, with the co-ordination of his fan clubs.

Talking to journalists, Vivek said, "I am just following the guideline of our former President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam's dream of planting 100 crore trees across India to protect the natural wealth of the country. I humbly request all nature loving people to join this venture throughout the state and make the dream come true."
