Remember the actress Priyanka? She shot to fame playing Pasupathy's ladylove in 'Veyil', directed by Vasanthabalan. The young actress chose to marry the Tamil film assistant director Lawrence Ram at the Attukal Bhagavathy temple in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.

The ceremony was attended by the couple's parents, relatives and friends.

Priyanka was pursuing a degree in Physics at the Mar Ivanios College in Trivandrum, when she ventured into Malayalam television serials.

Vasanthabalan casted her in 'Veyil' in which she proved her mettle as an artiste. Priyanka went on to do a lot of Malayalam films and became popular after playing the lead opposite Mohanlal in Rosshan Andrrews directed film 'Evidam Swargamanu'.

Two of her Tamil films 'Sengathu Bhoomiyile' and 'Vaanam Partha Seemaiyile' are yet to be released.
