Whitney Houston makes fuss on plane'

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Whitney Houston "almost got kicked off a flight" after reportedly refusing to fasten her seatbelt.

The 48-year-old singer landed herself in trouble on a Delta Airlines plane on Wednesday afternoon, according to TMZ.

Whitney boarded a flight in Atlanta and was asked to buckle up before the aircraft took off. However, it has been alleged that Whitney refused the crew member's request.

Another of the Delta Airlines crew then reportedly approached the star and warned her that if she didn't fasten her belt she would have to exit the plane.

"She almost got kicked off a Delta Airlines flight yesterday... because she refused to buckle her seatbelt," reports TMZ. "Whitney eventually allowed one of the crew members to grab the buckle and fasten it for the singer."

The plane was then cleared for takeoff and the rest of the journey was uneventful.

It has been claimed Whitney was feeling frustrated because she had missed a flight on Wednesday.

"Whitney overreacted a little bit after missing an earlier flight but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie," a source told TMZ.

The star received drug and alcohol treatment earlier this year in a bid to clean up her life.

She has landed a role in a remake of Sparkle, which focuses on three sisters who begin singing in a Harlem choir before finding fame in a girl group in the late 50s.

Whitney is playing Sparkle's resentful mother Effie in the movie her first return to the big screen since 1996 drama The Preacher's Wife. (C) Cover Media
