(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Will Smith has laughed about being called "the Karate Kid's Dad" in around 40 separate languages.

The star has 13-year-old Jaden and Willow, 11, with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Although the Hollywood icon has enjoyed a stellar career, some young people only associate him with his children.

Both of his youngsters are in entertainment Willow is a singer and Jaden has enjoyed success in movies such as 2010's The Karate Kid.

Will laughs when he thinks about the way his kids' friends and other young people greet him.

"A bunch have called me either Mr. Willow or the Karate Kid's Dad," Will giggled to Us Weekly. "I've been called that in about 40 different languages."

Will and Jada are OK with their children working in Hollywood as long as their tots are happy.

The actor has previously explained why they believe in giving their children the freedom to be themselves.

"It's not so tricky. Show business is far safer than where Jada and I were raised. I grew up in inner-city Philadelphia, and on a summer afternoon I saw a guy take nine shots from an automatic weapon while we were playing on the basketball courts. That was tricky for my parents," Will said. (C) Cover Media
