William and Kate thrilled with exquisite wedding

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britains Prince William and his fiance Kate Middleton have been involved in every decision made ahead of their exquisitely beautiful wedding day.

There are just ten days to go until the future king marries Kate at Westminster Abbey in London and final preparations for the big day are being carried out. It has emerged that the couple have been closely involved with all stages of their wedding, with St. James Palace insisting they have had a great time planning the nuptials.

"There are a few minor tweaks still happening to the service at the Abbey but pretty much everything has now been decided, St. James Palace said in a statement released today.

"The couple has really thoroughly enjoyed the process of creating their big day. The couple has been very much in charge of their day.

"We hope that, all going well on the day, we have been able to create a day that is exquisitely beautiful in every detail from the carriage procession to the flowers and the music and we hope that it will be a day that everybody in the country can be proud of."

The wedding has been primarily organised by Williams private secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton and his personal private secretary Helen Asprey. They have gone to great lengths to ensure the royal wedding remains personal to William and Kate, but will also impress the expected worldwide television audience of up to two billion people.

"They have been responsible for every detail, from smallest detail of the canaps that will be eaten at the reception to the venue and the carriages, the statement added. "No decision has been taken that hasn't been passed by them and that they haven't offered an opinion about.

Meanwhile, a coat of arms has been created for Kate and will appear on a souvenir programme for the wedding. The design was commissioned by Kates father Michael Middleton and features a variety of different symbols. The oak tree traditionally representing England and strength appears on there, as it is symbolic of Berkshire, where the Middleton family have lived for many years.

There are also three acorn sprigs representing Michael and Carols three children, and this feature is believed to have been suggested by Kate. At the centre of the coat of arms appears an inverted V in gold, which represents Carols maiden name Goldsmith. Surrounding this are white chevronels which symbolise peaks and mountains, to reflect the familys love for the Lake District and also skiing.

"It's not compulsory, but as their daughter is marrying into the royal family she will have a need probably to use a coat of arms," explained Thomas Woodcock, who was involved in the design. (C) Cover Media
