The teaser of this military drama 'URI- the surgical strike' starring Vicky Kaushal had left us intrigued and on the quest of wanting more, followed by the makers giving away the release date. Yes, URI trailer will be out on the 5th of December and it also stars Yami Gautam in a pivotal role.

The 30-year-old is all set to play an intelligence officer and her look for the film is out. Yami has gone for short hair look and her new look suits her character which is in the line of a geeky personality. Uri is based on Indian Army's surgical strikes on terror launch pads across Line of Control (LoC). On September 18, 2016, 19 Indian soldiers were killed in an early morning attack by Pakistani terrorists at the 12 Infantry Brigade headquarters in Uri. In response, on September 29, the Indian Army's Special Forces carried out surgical strikes on terror launch pads across Line of Control (LoC). The film is based on the same premise.
