Zac Efron would love to play a serial killer on Glee.
The actor has proven his ability to sing and dance by starring in the High School Musical franchise. He would be thrilled to team up with his New Year's Eve co-star Lea Michele and appear in the musical television show.
While Lea plays an ambitious straight-laced student in Glee, Zac has a more sinister role in mind.
"I'm a huge fan of Glee and a huge fan of her work," he told Access Hollywood. "It looks so fun. I would love to [appear on the show]. Have they had a serial killer yet? It'd be fun to sing about."
In the romantic comedy New Year's Eve, Zac is reunited with his Hairspray co-star Michelle Pfeiffer.
The pair share a kiss in New Year's Eve and Zac has revealed that his plans for a passionate lip lock did not go smoothly.
"In my mind, the way I pictured it, it was going to be perfect, very romantic, very leading man," he explained. "Then of course, as we went to film it, right when I went to dip her, a huge piece of confetti went straight into my mouth. I didn't want to finish the kiss like that, so I spit and went for it. That's actually in the movie."
Meanwhile, Lea has spoken about her on-screen chemistry with Ashton Kutcher.
In New Year's Eve the pair play strangers who become stuck in an elevator.
Lea portrays an aspiring singer while Ashton is a pessimistic comic book artist. The actress says that being unfamiliar with Ashton before filming helped their scenes.
"He's an incredibly smart guy and he's so sweet," she told THR. "I think it was really good in this movie that Ashton and I didn't know each other because we were supposed to be strangers meeting in an elevator.
"I think if we were playing two people who have known each other their whole lives we would have definitely worked hard to create a certain rapport with each other, but not knowing each other really helped with this film."
New Year's Eve is released worldwide from this week.
