Bhumi shares bday boy Sushant's still from 'Sonchiriya'

The Detective Byomkesh Bakshy actor Sushant Singh Rajput has turned 33 and all the celebs and close friends have wished the actor on being a year older. Although it was Sushant's fellow co-star Bhumi Pednekar who wished the actor in some style.

She shared a still from their up-coming film 'Sonchiriya' where both Bhumi and Sushant are shadowed under an umbrella posing for the camera. Sharing this pic via her official Instagram handle Bhumi wrote, "A very happy birthday @sushantsinghrajput my Chambal Buddy!!! Hope this year brings you a storm of good fortune that even this umbrella can't stop. #ChambalDiaries #Sonchiriya." This calls in for a great friendship goal and the caption is proof of it. 

Sonchiriya marks Bhumi and Sushant's first collaboration. Acclaimed actor Ashutosh Rana will be seen playing the main antagonist in the film.

Apart from this dacoit drama, Bhumi will be seen starring in Karan Johar's next directorial venture, 'Takht'. The period drama is set in the Mughal era and features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in the film's cast.

On the other hand, Sushant Singh Rajput will star opposite Jacqueline Fernandez in Tarun Mansukhani's 'Drive'. The film also stars Sapna Pabbi, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi and Vikramjeet Virk in key roles and is slated to release on June 28.
