(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eddie Cibrian has defended his wife LeAnn Rimes saying she is not too thin.

The actor said that his spouse is "perfect" after she was recently criticised for losing too much weight when she posted bikini pictures of herself on Twitter.

In an interview with Extra TV, the 38-year-old actor said he likes his new bride just the way she is.

"I think she looks wonderful. She is very healthy, and to me perfect," he said

Eddie, who is starring in new television drama The Playboy Club, says he and LeAnn often work out together and go to the gym a lot.

"[LeAnn] loves to work out. If I had my preference, I'd rather go outside and play basketball or golf," the actor said.

The country singer has recently moved to Chicago to be close to her husband, who she married back in April, while he films the series set in the 1960s.

LeAnn and Eddie met on the set of TV movie Northern Lights in 2008 while they were both still married to other people.

But their romance brought an end to their relationships and they officially got together soon after. (C) Cover Media
