Farhan Akhtar, whose 2008 film 'Rock On' directed by Abhishek Kapoor left you teary-eyed and since then viewers were awaiting for the sequel of the film. As soon as Farhan announced the sequel, his fans rejoiced with joy. Now there is one more reason to rejoice as the first poster of the film is out.

Farhan shared the poster on his twitter handle and captioned it as, "Woohooo! Here we go... #RockOn2 poster. #ReliveTheMagik." As soon as the poster was out it started trending and Arjun Rampal tweeted, "Wowhooooo!!!! Rock On 2 poster is trending already. Thank you for all the love guys and girls. It's time to #ReliveTheMagik."

The poster shows Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Purab Kohli and the new addition in the film Shashank Arora are ready to give us some power-packed music. The tagline of the film reads, "every generation finds its voice."

The film will concentrate on emotions and friendships. It generally focuses on the issue of North-east region of India and most of the film has been shot in Shillong. According to the poster the film will release on November 11, 2016.
