Jessica Simpson "couldn't wait" to strip down naked in the third trimester of her pregnancy for Elle magazine.

The singer-and-fashionista is expecting her first child with her fianc Eric Johnson.

Jessica is featured in her fully pregnant glory on the cover of the April edition of the glamorous fashion magazine.

In light of her physical state, Jessica especially enjoyed preparing for this unique photo shoot.

"Normally I'm hoping to be 107lbs. and I don't eat, but [I] couldn't wait," Jessica gushed to USA Today. "I ate cheesecake before we shot."

Jessica felt empowered by exposing herself fully on set in her expectant condition.

"I wasn't nervous at all," Jessica recalled. "Normally, I'm so shy. I'm not the person you see photographed in a bikini on a beach. But for some reason, being pregnant, it's so easy for me. I feel so comfortable in my skin."

Numerous people, including Jessica's Fashion Star reality show co-host supermodel Elle Macpherson, have spoken out about how gorgeous she looked in her cover image.

Jessica is humbled by all the support she is receiving.

"I'm glad people are reacting positively," she gushed. "It's just really a celebratory moment for me."

Jessica is expected to deliver her baby any day now.
