(Cover) - US Showbiz - Joan Collins thinks having a Twitter account is "weird".

The 78-year-old star doesn't understand the obsession with social networking. The British actress says celebrities that keep fans informed of their everyday whereabouts are slightly odd.

"No, are you kidding? I don't want people to know everything I am doing," she exclaimed in an interview with the UK edition of OK! magazine.

"I think that is really kind of weird. Email is as far as I go and that's it."

Joan is famed for her glamorous signature look of bright red lipstick and large shoulder pads. Joan has kept this style ever since she played the role of Alexis on 80s TV show Dynasty.

The stunning star is impressed with the amount of glamour on offer amongst today's Hollywood stars, and says they could easily rival the classic beauties.

"I think that some of these women look absolutely fantastic," she said.

"When you look back at the Lana Turners and the Ava Gardners and the Elizabeth Taylors of that time, they also looked fantastic. I think that in terms of actual glamour they look just as good on the red carpet, just as good as the old-time movies stars." (C) Cover Media
