Since Anushka Sharma's maiden production venture 'NH10' showcases a lot of bloodshed and violence onscreen, the censor board has rated the film as 'A' i.e.'Adults only'.
Confirming about the rating, director Navdeep Singh said, "It's not a film for Chinky and Pinky. Not only specific scenes, but even the content is not meant for children. I realise that a large chunk of the audience won't get to see the film in the theatres, but you also stand to lose your audience if you dilute the scenes. So I'm okay with an `A' certificate."
The filmmaker was expecting a 'UA' rating, however to get this certification they were asked to cut down on the gory factor, which they were not keen about.
Co-produced by Eros International and Phantom Productions, it stars Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumar with Anushka.
