NH10 receives a go ahead from the censor board

5th March 2015

Anushka Sharma's production venture 'NH10' that has her and Neil Bhoopalam play the lead, has garnered much attention more because of the bold language and the violence depicted in the film.

Director Navdeep Singh shares that he was aware from the word go that he is going to have a tough time convincing the censor board to release the film.

'Nh10' was presented to the board last week but at the screening held on Monday, the board suggested 30 cuts before the film is fit for the viewers. More than the language, the board was concerned about the violence in the film. After Singh explaining his disposition, the board finally gave the film a go ahead with 9 cuts and an Adult certificate.

'NH10' is about a young couple that on a road trip encounters violent criminals. The film was earlier slated to release on March 6th, but with the board clearing the film today, it might see a next week release.
