It is Dinesh Vijan's romantic comedy titled 'Luka Chuppi' and the lead actors are already confirmed. It is the 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' actress Kriti Sanon and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' fame Kartik Aaryan locked in to play the leading pair.

Although the previous addition to the film's cast was Aparshakti Khurana and the makers have now confirmed that the Sacred Games actor Pankaj Tripathi will also be the part of the cast. After Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Stree', Pankaj Tripathi is again set to collaborate with Maddock Films.

Pankaj would be rejoining his onscreen daughter from 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and the actor is excited to work with Kartik as well. Talking about sharing screen space with Kartik, Pankaj says, ''He has always showered me with compliments for films like Nil Battey Sannata and Newton. So I’ve known him for quite some time.'' 

Speaking about Tripathi's role in the film, Dinesh said, ''Pankaj is someone with an endearing and ridiculous sense of humour, he just makes you crack up. In Luka Chuppi, he plays an estate agent from Mathura who owns an agency called Baby Doll, which is right opposite a sari shop because he is a bachelor looking for his life partner.''   

While Pankaj defines it as a colourful role and responds, ''My character is a man with a different sense of humour and whenever the story gets too complicated, he has some contribution to make. So far, the audience has only seen me playing simple, sober and desi characters. This time you will see me wearing colourful clothes and I even have highlights in my hair.''
