The trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Raabta' though gained much popularity but now has landed into a legal trouble as it bears an uncanny resemblance to SS Rajamouli's epic film 'Magadheera' starring Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal.  The makers who kept mum till now have now moved to the court and seeked for an injunction against the film's release.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared a picture of a letter which announced that the Hyderabad court has been approached regarding the issue of the film. He wrote, "Producers of #Magadheera have approached court against #Raabta" alongside the image. The matter will now be heard on June 1, 2017 whether ‘Raabta’ will be released on the same date of June 9, 2017 or not.

'Raabta' also stars Rajkummar Rao in an cameo appearance and is helmed by Dinesh Vijan.
