Sources earlier stated that Saif Ali Khan would launch Kareena Kapoor's cousin Armaan Jain in Bollywood. Armaan is actor Randhir Kapoor's sister Reema and her husband Manoj Jain's son.

But now, Saif has himself confirmed the same stating, "My company, Illuminati Films, will produce a film that will be the launch vehicle of Armaan. The film, a love story, will be directed by Imtiaz Ali's brother Arif. Imtiaz is also creatively involved with the project. My business partner, Dinesh Vijan will have more details on the project. Right now I am more involved in Go Goa Gone."

Kareena is very happy about this news as she is very close to her aunt Reema and her family. The actress of the film as well as the other casts are yet to be finalized.
