Nine years ago Saif Ali Khan came up with his own production house 'Illuminati Films', partnering with his friend Dinesh Vijan for the first film together 'Love Aaj Kal' that garnered both critical and commercial success. The duo went on delivering films like 'Cocktail', 'Go Goa Gone', 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' and 'Happy Ending'.

Now, Saif is all set to collab with filmmaker Jay Shewakramani under a new production banner named 'Black Knight Films'.To produce 'Jawani Janeman' is a family comedy that is set to go on floors in 2019 helmed by Filmistaan fame director Nitin Kakkar and will star the Sacred Games actor in the lead.

Confirming the news trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted "IT'S OFFICIAL... Saif Ali Khan's Black Knight Films and Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights Films join hands for their first venture together... Titled #JawaniJaneman... Directed by Nitin Kakkar... Starts 2019."

A source close to the development team stated, "Saif had been planning to set up his own banner and start producing films again. He has the business and creative acumen for it and was looking to get an entire team in place before the big announcement."

Rumour has it his daughter from first wife Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan is roped in for the film as well.
