Junior shotgun as she is referred to, Sonakshi Sinha is all set for her next film 'Akira.' We shared with you the news of the commencement of the shooting just a couple of months ago. Now the makers have released the first official teaser poster of the film. Sonakshi shared the poster on her twitter. She tweeted, "Lights... Camera... ACTION! #Akira" alongside the poster.

The poster showcases Sonakshi in her tough look staring at you through the cut through of the film's name. Sonakshi will be seen doing some martial arts stunts in the film for which she had undergone a tough training. The poster also carries a tagline which says, "No One Will Be Forgiven."

The film which was earlier set to release on September 23 will now release on September 2. Sonakshi confirmed the pre-poned release date by tweeting, "Because YOU and I both cant wait to see how @ARMurugadoss has transformed me in #AKIRA... We are now releasing on September 2!."

The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film 'Mouna Guru' and also stars Konkona Sen Sharma along with Sonakshi. 'Akira' directed by A R Murugadoss will release on September 2, 2016.
