December 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The star cast of the Tamil version of blockbuster Bollywood movie '3 Idiots' rounded up on their style statements for the upcoming Tamil flick in Chennai. According to reports from the Kollywood industry, actors Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva, playing Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshis roles respectively in the remade version of 3 Idiots, paid a visit to a studio located in the city of Chennai to receive a stylish makeover. Going by the reports, the three actors visited the studio two days before to decide on their respective styles for the film which has not gone on floors yet.

A source close to the films unit reported the media that Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva came in at different hours of the day and left immediately after their respective lines of clothing were decided for them. The source also added that the films crew along with the three actors will reach Dehradun by the 6th of December to start on filming work for the Tamil version of 3 Idiots. Joining Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva in the film is actress Ileana, who will step into the shoes of Kareena Kapoor in the remade version.

Speculation and interest surrounding the Tamil version is sky high especially after the Bollywood version of 3 Idiots was one of the most popular movies in the history of Indian cinema. Kollywood is keeping its hopes pinned on director Shankar.
