The makers are out with the teaser of Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar's starrer 'Sonchiriya' and the setting is so interesting introducing the characters in Quentin Tarantino style. We are introduced to the key characters of Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in some style.

Beginning with Bajpayee's voiceover with the scene of dacoits entering the village and warning them not to stand against them, that's when Sushant as a rebel shoots one of the dacoits who peeps through a key-hole. It is interesting to note that the name of Bajpayee's character is Man Singh, he had the same name in Shekhar Kapoor's Phoolan Devi biopic 'Bandit Queen'. So, is it possible that he is playing an extension of the real-life dacoit Man Singh he played in Bandit Queen.

Bajpayee and Ranvir Shorey sport a Veerappan moustache while the antagonist Ashutosh Rana is not clearly presented. His portion is presented in a blurry manner. Sonchiriya's teaser reminds us of Quentin Tarantino style films as the character introduction was super convincing and crisp. The movie is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who has earlier helmed Udta Punjab, Dedh Ishqiya and Ishqiya and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. 'Sonchiriya' is slated for a February 2019 release.
