(Cover) - EN Showbiz - 50 Cent has advised his fans to spend time with their loved ones following the Japan earthquake.
A tremor measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale hit off the north east of the country several hours ago, triggering a tsunami which has left many parts of the country devastated. The number of deaths is rising continuously, and countries including New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Hawaii have been put on tsunami watch as the wave continues its path.
50 Cent was one of the first stars to post messages about the natural disaster on Twitter, and is horrified by what has occurred.
Man I hate to say this but the world is coming to an end. Look at Japan tell the people you value you love them, he said.
US west coast TUSNAMI watch f*ck this I'm going back to New York. Hawaii under a watch this sh*t is crazy. I can't swim (sic).
A number of other stars have posted messages of support for the Japanese people on Twitter.
Lindsay Lohan said her mother Dina had woken her with the news. God bless those that are in fear, she added.
Hollywood stylist Rachel Zoe and actress Alyssa Milano both offered Japan their support, as did hotel heiress Paris Hilton.
The images on the news are breaking my heart. I am so worried for everyone in Japan. My thoughts are with you Japan. God bless you all, Paris wrote.
Other stars to offer well wishes include Tori Spelling, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Emma Bunton and Denise Richards. (C) Cover Media
